A play-based, hands-on approach to learning that fosters social and physical development through experimentation and exploration. Our preschool program will provide a foundation that will support a smooth and confident transition to Kindergarten, as well as allow students to get acclimated to the school day and environment.
9:00-9:20 Morning work, independent coloring
9:20-9:40 Circle time – greeting, question of the day, calendar
9:40-10:00 Recess
10:05-10:20 Snack
10:25-10:50 Focus Board – letter, number, color of the week. Group lesson/review and worksheets
10:50-11:35 Free Play
11:45-12:15 Lunch in the cafeteria (with Kindergarten)
12:20-1:00 Quiet Time – students listen to a book, then listen to soft music with a fidget or a book
1:00-1:10 Movement Break
1:10-1:45 Centers, Science, Group activity or craft
1:45-2:30 Free Play
2:35-2:45 Pack up, tidy classroom
2:45-3:10 Recess
3:15-3:30 Carpet game or activity on the carpet before dismissal
